The versatile underclassman will get to showcase a bit of it all this week in Indy.

He's a Tarik Cohen clone. Hopefully he goes to an offense that can utilize his skill set fully though, and not one coached by someone like Matt Nagy.

Telling g yall he is 3rd or later pick. He will show much better when he is in the NFL but he is not getting picked in before 3 and probably after that.

Cohen is much smaller & kind of straight-like explosive

Their games are very different.

CEH more powerful, better lateral agility. Not as fast. Better pass catcher in my eyes.

Comp: Brian Westbrook

Don't see the big deal - he's going to be the type of back that you'll play in the slot a bunch anyways.

Cohen is 5'6 and 191 pounds, and is an excellent athlete. I think CEH is as well.

No, they aren't.

More powerful? Yes. Better pass catcher? No.

Cohen lined up at WR more often than RB in 2019.

I like CEH, but it's unlikely he's ever going to be a 3 down back like Westbrook was in his prime.

ETA: I think CEH will see more carries that Cohen, because he's built a little more for it. Maybe 125-150 per year.

ETAA: Gio Bernard's first 3 seasons are also a good comparison. 164 carries and 49 receptions per season. 1,100 scrimmage yards. 5-7 total TDs.

He’s easily a 2nd round pick and with a good showing, he could be the second RB off of the board. I’m hearing he’s high up on the RB board for a lot of teams. The downside to the RB position is the fact that it’s no longer a premium draft position in the NFL.

Cohen weighed 179 at the combine

CEH was 207 iirc.

That’s quite a difference.

They just move differently. CEH’s ability to plant lends itself to better routes than what Cohen runs. I know Cohen lined up at WR. He’s just kinda stiff tho.

Don’t think CEH will be an every down back, but Can be in spots. Kind of like Gio Bernard

This is a bad take. He can run the ball, catch the ball and is a very good pass blocking RB. Most people actually think he can be a 3 down back immediately.

I'm talking about Cohen now, who was under utilized last year.

I agree here. Gio's first three years are what I will expect out of CEH if he goes to a team who plans to use him.

There are only a handful of true 3 down backs in the NFL these days.

Ezekiel Elliot
Saquan Barkley
Christian McCaffrey
Leonard Fournette (Out of necessity)

I don't believe CEH is in the same mold as these guys. Three of them are 225+.

ETA: Dalvin Cook as well.

How many 5’7” 207lb every down backs do you know?

Thr good news for him is the nfl has become extremely specialized. Many teams run tandem backs based on down & distance. So he can still get a lot of touches. Don’t think we are talking bell cow touches though.

His draft bio has him compared to Devonta Freeman, which I think is a good one. Though I think Freeman was a better player when he was getting spelled by Tevin Coleman.

That's all in flux right now. He was 2nd but they've moved Taylor and Moss above him now.
