If they keep from losing by double digits, I’d consider it a win. USC’s entire team are seniors coming off a national championship season. Even the gals coming off the bench. Next year will be a completely different story, but South Carolina’s on another level this year.

Unfortunately I agree with above. But they may end up playing 2 or 3 times, just got to win the right one!

We’re right there just need a little more depth. Last few games have shown that. Next year team with the signing class we brought in will do wonders. Mulkey has done wonders so far in the first two seasons. Next year will be her best team

curious, how many times have two SEC teams played each other, each with a 23-0 or better record? can't be many.

I haven’t ready why anywhere, but does anyone know why there is a week between their last game and this one?

This will be Angel Reese's first real competition with a bigger/stronger post player. SC has much more consistent guard play. Our guards continued to let A&M back in the game yesterday with turnovers. We are a year or two away from really matching up well with them and do not expect a win. But, that's why you play the game. I just hope we make it competitive. This is going to be 1 of the only games most people are going to watch, so I am looking forward to all the posts about how bad we are and questioning how we got such hype all based on this one game.

It’s one of LSU’s bye slots. All the women’s teams have two during the season.

And they don't have just one big. Boston and Cordoso hammered uconn on the offensive board. The challenge for Reese and Williams is to be more physical without fouling. That's going to be a tough matchup for LSU.

Not sure why many act as if this is hopeless. We played them twice last year to 7 points or less. We are a better team this year than last year. Reese played against SC last year and had a good game. Anything can happen. That's why they play the games. Our girls have a weeks rest while SC will be on game 3 in 8 days including 2 road games. Could they pull away and beat us impressively, sure. Could we go in and beat them, sure.

LSU played Carolina once last season, in early January, and lost 66-60 in the PMAC. Carolina lost at Mizzou and to UK in the SEC Ty.

I do not think LSU will win the SEC Ty as playing three games in three consecutive days is not what our limited roster needs now. BUT, I think we can beat them in Columbia Sunday IF we (1) do not get in foul trouble, (2) shoot well from the outside, and (3) rebound well, especially holding down Carolina's offensive rebounding which kills most teams.
