No fricking shite, huh? No organization has made an allegation against him, but LSU needs him to say he didn't do something?
fricking clowns running this thing.
And fricking clowns cheering this entire thing on.

Did Will Wade just make it a civil rights case too ?

Pretty sure WW wouldn’t ask to be reinstated if he knew he was guilty of anything.

All depends on his contract. In many contracts you agree to specific performance around certain matters. Like ncaa compliance and investigations. Or like conformance with LSU personnel policy. Those policies of contractual, matters can and sometimes will tread on constitutional rights. When you start referring to constitutional rights in a dispute you are wasting your time and creating an unresolvable conflict.
Besides his contract, Wade like all coaches and staff sign and submit a statement to the NCAA yearly that they will perform the duties of their position within NCAA regulations. The only rights Wade has or those given by the NCAA

I would have appreciated a firm denial on the charges in there somewhere
What you'd enjoy hearing from him and what's an intelligent thing for him to do are two very different, and mutually 3xclusive, things. Since there are no formal charges of any kind against him from any authority, denying nonexistent charges is something no competent attorney would allow him to do. And issuing a denial of any wrongdoing whatsoever would be equally dangerous.
This is a big boy game. Let the grownups play it.

It's all about money. LSU is holding/going to withhold performance bonuses until it's straightened out.

Is there an email address or some way everyone can send a message to Joe Alleva to tell him to free Will Wade ASAP?
Is there something called google?
Is there a website run by LSU that shows email addresses of all employees of the Athletic Department?
Hmmm...

And when that happens, Lipscomb will roll LSU in hoops.

Bruce Pearl got a contract extension in June so yea, I am guessing they have hashed everything out. He was also never on a wire tap, nor were their allegations anything like LSUs
quote:Two different Administrations and how they operate (AU/LSU.)
So Pearl gets the benefit of the doubt from Auburn after lying to his bosses and the NCAA publicly at Tennessee (I believe he had issues at UWGB too) and getting hit with a show cause. Doesn’t really seem like LSU is treating their guy fairly when he’s not been “convicted” in the NCAA’s court yet
See, AU didn't give a shite that Bruce was still serving a show cause when they hired him and brought him on campus. They hired him when no one else would touch him with a 10' pole.
They don't care one bit that they've had at least three "issues" with BP's coaching staff since he was hired. They had to fire an Asst HC (Persons), 2 more asst coaches (VenHulst/Sullivan), bench 2 players for an entire season (Purifoy/Wiley), and just today they've had to suspend another Asst Coach (Bowman), and that doesn't even account for the hundreds of thousands AU has had to spend on internal investigations from outside firms, or legal fees, etc.

He didn't admit doing anything either! He didn't say anything other than follow his legal counsel's advice.

I find it funny how you're willing to take LSU's position at face value but not Will Wade's.
LSU just wants to get to the bottom of things, right?

This guy gets it! He stands up for himself and doesn't give in to a bunch of douchebags sitting in a board room that want their egos stroked.
Do they even realize that the moment he walked into that meeting, every single board member would have been subpoenaed? The defense would have loved for Will Wade to attend but Will has better lawyers.
This is all dumb. Let him coach and let LSU prepare for the tourney already!
