Bougeois is still on the roster on lsusports.net but unless he's improved vastly i dont see how he helps this team.

Will Evan Powell be seeing any time at DH if Rhymes plays LF, or vice versa?

I remember reading that Powell hits it pretty well

I have a feeling questions like those are still to be determined.

Our offense wasn't as bad as many here think

from what I remember the offense put up better stats than the pitching did in comparison to other SEC teams.

For some reason, everyone remembers the pitching of Gausman and Mccune and thinks the pitching was great overall, but that's not the case.

Biggest weakness last year. Rumbelow had a great fall so hopefully he parlays that. Some of the new guys will need to step up. Looking at you Nola.

Hitting was ok the BIG problem was getting runners to homeplate. I remember an Arkansas game last year we had bases loaded 2 maybe 3 innings in a row and couldnt score anyone. This needs to be fixed.

No thanks on JB and JR. No disrespect to those guys, but i think they were pitching 2 years ago because they had too. I dont think either are SEC quality pitchers.

Rittner is a good pitcher i think he is a good reliever type , simliar to a Paul Bertuccini but has more pitches to throw.

Katz might have been our best consistent hitter last year and he had a broken wrist too.

You're absolutely right about timely hitting. We probably led the SEC in stranding runners.

you're right but i think PM was so into the small ball mentality it hurt us with runs possibly.

hey, i all but wrote off Kevin Berry after watching him pitch at UNO 2 years ago. He was horrible.

he looked like a different pitcher last year for LSU.

for sure. I'll reserve judgment until he actually starts sucking again. Maybe he's gotten better.
