i agree with most years but not every year. that's unrealistic.

It definitely was hitting it stride towards the end of the season.

At least Manieri admitted that he'd made mistakes and acknowledged that he had to improve. I respect that a lot.
You'd never catch that other coach with the office over the left field wall admitting to any mistakes.

yeah your right but if we have 3 years in a row of average - below average play , PM needs to go.

And at the beginning of the season. Just a poor stretch in the middle.
We finished I think in the top 40 in batting average.

@UF, @South Carolina, Vandy, and Arky. All teams "projected" to be better than LSU.
Leaves no room for error against the other SEC teams who aren't going to be pushovers (UGA comes to mind).

He did something, he recognized the weakness in our pitching staff and made a good change.
He fricked up and got lazy, and admitted it. I don't see how someone could hate him for it. Wish he wouldn't have done it, but at least he admitted it.

If Gaus, Cune, and Eades can stay healthy and pitch like they're capable I think we can have a great year. I'm excited. One month from opening day. 10 days until practice reports.
Adam needs to do his position breakdown soon.

I think a lot of this season is going to come down to bullpen. Like someone said, lots of tight games this season.

If those guys pitch like they did last year and we get a slight improvement from Eades, we'll be hosting a regional. I truly believe that.

but when your getting paid millions of dollars to manage a team you need to manage all of it not some of it and not one of the main parts of it in recruiting

I'm hoping for MVP of the Cape Eades. One more year away from his surgery too should help.

i hope you're right. I'm not worried so much about pitching though , just the hitting scares me but we will see.

We'll be getting back Jordan Rittner and Joey Bourgeois too, after both missed last season

bullpen.
Biggest weakness last year.
Rumbelow had a great fall so hopefully he parlays that. Some of the new guys will need to step up. Looking at you Nola.

Agreed, if he lives up to his billing, we shouldn't lose very many weekend series. Our starting pitching was fine last year, the bullpen was atrocious. I think they can at least be decent this year.

I dont think Rittner is on the team.
