We walk from the FQ on saints game days when we stay at our place. It’s not bad. If your kids are bratty & your father a little older, it may not be a good idea. But if everyone is down for a stroll, that’s not a bad walk to the game if you go in the afternoon

I wouldn’t walk back at night though. You could walk half of it but the last stretch is not great

Unless there is unreal traffic, once you get onto the elevated West Bank Expressway, about five or six minutes from Bayou Segnette, it is six to eight minutes into the Central Business District.

Traffic is the operative, there, time of day and what-have-you.

Ive seen rvs in some of the lots on the river side of the dome. Not sure what the deal is as far as getting in there, but worth checking out.

Park in the FQ lot and get an uber or walk if its nice. It is just up rampart- 1,5 miles away.

I have friend that has a gated park 5 minutes from the dome that he is renting spots. You I’ll need your own power and water, but it is secure and he will run you up to the dome on a golf cart.
