I've always considered LSU to be a "destination" job for coaches. I'm almost into my 5th decade as a fan and for the first time, I wonder if any decent HC would want to come coach LSU at this moment.

Could it be that bad?

Dude, we have had three coaches in a row win an NC. Unless there are some undisclosed problems, this is an attractive job. I still don't think O gets fired, by the way.

LSU is probably like a top 5 or 10 job nationally. The recruiting is amazing, facilities are top notch, no in state rival, donors with deep pockets and you go up against the best of the best in the SEC. I don’t think we will have problems attracting quality coaches.

I understand and agree with you, but I don't remember a time when it was like this. Hell, last month I was laughing at Texas and their players for not wanting to sing, The Eyes of Texas. Now I'm wondering if we will have enough kids to field a team.

Gosh Urban would kill it here.

I believe there are several coaches who would do really well here, including Urban or Freeze. The university needs to act quickly if at all possible.
