With all the talk about which teams should and shouldn’t be in the SEC, how about some suggestions to who should stay and who should go to create a 16 team Super Conference. Here’s my first rough draft: East- Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Clemson, Alabama, Auburn, and Florida State. West- LSU, Ole Miss, Miss State, Oklahoma, Texas, Oklahoma State, and reluctantly Arkansas and A&M. That’s mine. Who’s next?

Oklahoma does not belong anywhere near the south EASTERN conference.

If we’re poaching mega programs FSU and Clemson make the most sense.

I am thinking of the grand scheme of the 4 16-team super conferences they say will be coming soon.

Only ACC teams we should be interested in are from North Carolina and Virginia. No Clemson, no FSU. No one else from the Big-12. Keep who we have and add Va. Tech and NC State, unless Vandy finally throws in the towel, then replace them with West Virginia.

If you think the SEC is crooked now...

Rice and UAB would be my first two choices.

None. Lose the four expansion teams and go back to 10. None of them are tried southeastern schools and the original 10 are more than sufficient.

Texas is the Southwest, not the Southeast. Arkansas is more of a Bog 12 school. Missouri is in the North. And South Carolina is on the Atlantic coast.

Texas A&M is in this league for the eyeballs they bring but they’re little brother in their own state. The other three schools don’t have the population base and/or consistent athletic prowess in the last 20 years in the big two sports to deserve to be in this league.

Why would Texas ever leave their conference?
That is the biggest cash cow in the country for their slightly above average teams .

The only reason to expand is for additional revenue.

No teams from states the SEC already has in its fold.

A team from North Carolina and a team from Virginia works. Oklahoma is too small to add any revenue to the SEC.

This might not be the most popular, but I would drop Missouri, move Auburn to the East, and add TCU to the West. TCU isn't winning national championships but is competitive in a lot of sports, brings in a good academic record, and is another Texas school that could rival with A&M, LSU, and Arkansas
