New Additions Affecting TV Games
Posted by LakeChuckTiger89 on 7/23/21 at 2:41 pm31
It’s going to be interesting to see once the new teams come in and ESPN takes over how they’ll handle game placement. We’re already stuck with at least 1 or 2 games that will require streaming this year. Hopefully they’ll have it figured out by 2024-2025.

Which LSU fball teams in 2021 will require streaming? I think all will be on CBS/ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU, or SECN.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a few of the lower tier SEC games on SEC+ channels, just like how ESPN+ does now for a few sports.
By 2024, I'm sure most homes will own ESPN+ since it's included with Disney+ in a lot of packages and it won't be an issue. You'll just have to worry about cable/satellite providers fighting the cord-cutters.

Not in rural areas where internet has more limitations.
