Yeah the overwhelming majority of those guys went to LSU or Bama to showcase themselves for the pros. That might not have been the case for a few like Blackwell, Hebert, etc.. and while I love em, we saw how well they did against Bama's waves of future draft picks on their front seven

It has come in waves at LSU in the last 15-20 years, unfortunately. It comes in waves at most of the top 10 programs in the nation. Bama, Clemson, Oklahoma, and Ohio St have been the outliers. Oklahoma is showing some chinks in the armor, and Ohio St may not be far behind.

My hope is that this season is a real growing experience for the guys that have stuck through thick and thin. Bring in a hungry group of newcomers, and you may have the makings of another wave in 2021 and/or 2022.

Bama and Clemson will always be consistent until Saban and Dabo are gone. They've built their programs to withstand attrition, so Covid is just a small bump in the road.
