it is best to stay at a hotel next to or near the stadium because this game will not end till 12 30am Sunday and if you take the metro back to downtown you can expect to arrive at your DT hotel at 2 or 2 30am

After the bowl game at NRG last year, Uber surge was 5x normal.. at the time i lived in the Heights area of Houston, and what was normally a 10 or 15 min drive turned into a $90 Uber ride.. split among 4 ppl, it was still a hell of lot better than staying downtown and dealing with the light rail.

Last time against Wisc there was free concert with a couple of bands next to the stadium. Miller Lite sponsored it and there were several beer stands available. Cost was not bad. There were some school sponsored tailgates like alumni stuff if you were privy to such an invite...

BYU may not have fewer fans than Wisconsin but the Houston bars are damn sure going to be less crowded than when we played the Badgers!
