This team has been playing subpar for a few games. I think they needed a loss to reset.

They had the loss at Missouri

No team needs a loss

Especially at home to an unranked team

Don't be fricking stupid man

I think A&M was sloppy despite the 15 point win. Most teams are beating them by 20 or more.

Would have preferred the loss to come against UK or somebody. Not a subpar team at home.

Well, their about to get a couple or three more, so maybe that will do them even more good, huh?

Bound to happen sooner rather than later based on their play in recent games. Important things go unnoticed while you’re winning.

No we didn’t we’ve fallen behind the top 2 teams and have our toughest stretch coming up. We needed this game badly

This is fricking stupid. Losing at home to an inferior opponent is terrible. Finally get the fan base excited again and lose a game like that at home just kills momentum

This is the stupidest logic ever. No one ever "needs" a loss.

in football, you’re right.

But in basketball, with a 30+ game season, sometimes a loss is good because it’s a slap in the face and gets a team back in focus.

I think his thinking is we’ve been living on borrowed time. Perhaps this loss catapults us to wins against Kentucky, Auburn, or Tennessee that we would not have gotten had we been satisfied with the status quo. I’d much rather learn from a win, but it’s obvious they did not do that after Missouri.

Or you could get a loss like this out of the way, regroup, and be better for potential game-changing possessions against UK, Tennessee, etc.

No loss is "needed", but at least our guys didn't lay down when Arky went up 18.

Does it suck to lose like this? Of course. Is it discouraging for the rest of the season? Not to me.
