NCAA transfer question: if a guy transfers out do you lose the scholly

Or can you just offer that same scholly retroactively to someone else in the transfer portal?

If you lose it, that’s bullshite.

you lose it. you can take a walk on but transfers count towards yearly 25 scholly limit.

You don't get to sign more the next year if that's what your asking, but I believe it doesn't count against your total on scholarships.

Well since it represents actual money having been given to the student for paying tuition, room and board, I don’t see how you “retroactively” use it on someone else. Presumably, the original recipient has been spending it on tuition, room and board.
