Which blue blood program complained to get them to make the change? Don’t get me wrong. It’s the right this to do.

Predicting a lot of playing time for Walker Howard? Did he even play in 4 games for it to matter?

Southern, and maybe another? I don't think he was over 2 games.

What are we looking like on defense?

Rule should be for any non CFP games. CFP games most certainly should count against eligibility IMO.

So who, for LSU, is probably gonna play now that wouldn’t have?

Wiggins and Fitzgerald West are the only 2 players sitting on 4 games that are now eligible.

What’s the point of eligibility as a requirement anymore. You already have players finishing masters degrees. At what point will the entire O-line be finishing their PhDs?

Good. The games outside of the playoffs are meaningless. This should have been a thing since the playoffs started!!!

New ncaa president announced today. Are we already seeing change in philosophy from an organization that sees it needs to adapt or become extinct?

Should be a new permanent rule.

So how do we benefit from this, this year?

Used to do this 35 years ago for any bowl game played on Jan. 1 or 2.

They should have done that last year so we wouldn't have had to play the game without a QB.

Now move the games up and play them all by New Year’s Day. This crap where zero college football is played on New Year’s Day is ridiculous and spreading a game out every other day for a week past new years is idiotic.

Why not just dump redshirts and give everyone 5 years of eligibility?

I’ve been advocating that for years. Would get rid of all the bullshite redshirt rules, medical redshirts, waivers, etc. you get 5 years, period.
