The dude got the rock taken from him every time he put it on the floor. He doesn't really have offensive identity and plays little to no defense. I think he will get better coaching at the next level though

so i guess you missed his handle in fast breaks or his successful drives? I didn't say he had a kyrie handle. I said he had a LITTLE handle, especially for a giant man.

People on this board are upset that LSU fans don't seem to understand that he was always going to leave.

That was always the plan. Even LSU coaches were on record that was the plan. Here is Greg Heiar commenting on it in Jan 2018

Lmao I’m done you guys are so dense on this board

How are they being dense? He went undrafted last night. I feel bad for the man. But he would’ve benefited from 1 more year in college.

I get that. But he should’ve re-evaluated that plan. Plans can be altered. I like Naz and I hope it still works out for him. I believe he has a ton of upside. He just has to take the long route, now.

Did you just say that he was unreliable at best behind the arc?????

Did you not see the games when he was 4-4 from 3, 4-6 from 3? He's got the ability. He was a nearly 50% FG guy, 73% FT, and 34% from 3. He will do what Blakeney did and work his way up.

Is it really though ? look at it from his point of view.. Naz can get a lot more instruction going this route. The NCAA has limits of 20 hr/week during the season and 8hrs week offseason.. also he does not have to bother with classes at this point..he will be getting paid and could make up to 500k on the 2way contract with the Twolves.. Lastly one false move by WW and he is no longer at LSU (but if we are being honest at this point in his career what track record does WW have for preparing guys for the NBA anyway)

He did not make a bad decision by entering the draft. He's a giant man that can move, handle a little, and stroke it. He made a bad decision by not amping up his care free attitude a little in interviews and workouts. The hustler we saw in games does not come out in drills apparently. He's going to get on the court and get himself a nice deal. He'll be fine.

He had an entire seasons worth of games to show what he could do. He just isn’t a nba caliber player right now. If he were he would have gotten drafted. Leaving after one season to be an undrafted free agent is laughably dumb.

The only way he gets that much money is if he actually gets to play in the nba. A year in the d leagues and he will be lucky to get a tenth of that.

He didn't really make a bad decision. From what everyone was saying is he should be a late first to early second round selection. IDK what happened.

No he made a horrible decision. The only people saying he was a 1st round pick were posters on this board. He was consistently rated in the 40s with regard to college players coming out.
That didn't include international players, which pushed him out of the draft.

Hopefully for the kids sake, the money he took from his agent was a signing bonus and not a loan.

At the time I posted this, I hadn’t seen that he signed with the Timberwolves. Although, I’m not familiar it’s two-way contracts. What does that mean?

Naz is signing a 2 way contract..not a standard Gleague contract.. each NBA team can have a max of 2 players on 2 way contracts.. so they are almost an extension of the NBA bench

He made a bad decision no matter how you swing it, one more year of college ball and he probably an instant millionaire. Now he probably will make less than me this year

He'll make $77k at most this year if he doesn't play at all on the big team. This was a bad decision. Apparently LSU pays more than that.

How does anyone know that?

The reports from all the scouts may have been telling him another year in college isnt what they want out of him, they want him to come develop in their systems
