Correct? Kid hasn’t played in 3 seasons so is it such a bad option to let him see the field and get meaningful snaps against a real opponent?
His role was pretty clear that he would be getting snaps but basically as a glorified RB in special situations.
If he lights it up in JUCO, maybe he comes back. His tweet made it clear he has no real ill will towards O and LSU.

Sure it's possible but not likely. He'll end up at a school where he has a clear path to starting.

If Burrow leaves after a year (or just sucks) then wouldn’t his path be relatively clear. I think it’s clear Brennan at least now is not the savior.

Here's the situation; company offers you a pretty good job, just wait a couple years to get promoted. A couple years goes by and you're up for your promotion. They bring in a guy with just a few more years experience than you but has never been in the position you were offered either. So you go find another job.
That same company re-offers you the job year or so down the road when the guy who took your spot gets promoted again.
Would you come back after they passed you up? Nah neither would Lowell.

That would be like Scott Jr. returning after a year at EMCC. Why would he do such a thing?
