Those clamoring for TJ to start. Think about this, had Myles had the o line play like they did for TJ, we are sitting at 3-1 minimum if not 4-0. As bad as our defense has been, we would have converted more 3rd downs and been able to punch it in from the red zone. Especially against Mizzou.

As others have pointed out before, we ran for 276 in TJ’s one start compared to 290 total in the 3 games Myles started. That’s all you need to know right there.

We have a good problem!
I’m already tired of hearing about it though

if myles could move in the pocket like Tj, we would be 4-0

TJ had a pocket, Myles didn’t

Myles won the starting job. He has performed better than any QB making his first starts for LSU ever. There really isn’t a controversy here. When he’s healthy, he’ll play.

73% of drives that started in LSU territory ended in a punt or turnover against MSU/Mizzou LSU scored on 6/7 drives starting in their own territory against SC. LSU had a 19% 3rd down conversion rate against MSU/Mizzou, they went 8-10 against SC 55% of LSU's points against MSU/Mizzou came from short fields or defensive scores. LSU did not punt a single time against SC

Thanks for reinforcing my point about the o line.

Just stop with this bullshite already please. Big nuts all go no quit TJ Finley is the best QB to ever play the game if football period. He has a cannon of a arm he is so big and tall and can read defenses with his eyes closed. I bet he could throw a football a hundred yards on one knee. I mean let’s be real Finley is the greatest qb to ever play at LSU period. So just stop with all the bullshite and start this kid

South Carolina is a shitty team. Everyone seems to be reading into them a lot.

I was more impressed with the play calling than Finley. And he was pretty impressive.

The offense hasn't been "the" problem. It's the defense. Myles is the guy unless he isn't healthy. Why do people think we need this controversy? If Myles throw two picks back to back you have Finley.

TJ threw for 214 in the 1st half, we went straight run after we got the big lead. Also sometimes a game plan and a QB that can get rid of the ball quick makes an O line look better. In 2016 when Etling took over, our O line magically looked much better.

Are they though? This whole season has been nothing but a week by week shite show of miscues.

So are you saying that Myles can’t get rid of the ball quickly or was it scheme/play calling that made our o line perform better and our offense be much more efficient in TJs start?

Does anyone on here think that we were going to start any unhearlded HS experienced QB over a RSJr QB... Cmon Man...

I am not on the TJ or Max train but that statement was asinine. two things that TJ brings to the table are 1. They are not afraid to run him 2. QB sneaks, Brennan has not been able to get the tough 1 yd sneaks reliably.

I am not sure, I would like to see us run the same offense with Brennan and see if he can. All I know is on short one read passes, Finley gets it from the snap to the receivers hands in about half a second, it’s like a handoff but 5-8 yards down the field.

I haven’t seen him try one this year.
