He might pull a Clyde and prove everyone wrong next year. I like that he has had three years to develop.

Hope so! I think he learned a lot as JB’s padawan.

It wouldn’t be proving me wrong. He’s a good QB

The kid was in the Elite 11 QB program with Fromm, Tua, Tate Martell, and Ehlinger in 2016. Kid can undoubtedly ball and has the potential to be an elite college qb, it's just unfortunate for him that Burrow transferred here.

Biggest adjustment will be receivers learning to catch the rounds coming out of that Howitzer of an arm he has.

Brennan could also learn a little touch as well.

I wouldn’t consider it unfortunate for him. He’s had the chance to develop, learn the playbook, gain much needed weight and muscle. All of this without having to get fed to the wolves early ala j. Lee. However, with this offensive scheme and playmakers, miss Janice from the nursing home could drop 30 a game.

I don’t think it’s a shame at all for Brennan that Joe transferred here. It’s probably the best thing that could have happened for him.

and fortunate for LSU fans, because MB would never have the Tigers at their present position. Next year maybe, but not yet. I hope the Tigers can win 10 games next season.

Does anyone think we have the same result if Brennan was behind center?

Agree. It’s really not a shame. Maybe it’s the best thing to ever happened to Brennan. He even said himself that God has a plan and he is sticking by it. Brennan will be older, bigger, more mature, smarter and will have learned things by playing with Burrow that you just can’t be taught any other way. With the team and scheme Brennan will have around him I expect he will be one of the most productive QBs in college football next year and there’s no reason not to have another run at the title.

His tweet to Joe last year was the sign of a real leader in the making. I read that he broke Brett Favre's records in Mississippi that were considered unbreakable. Anyone know if that's true?

I don't. Burrow happened for us exactly when we needed him. I think Brennan will do great things, but he has needed some time to mature. I am looking forward to watching him play. I'm sure he won't be perfect, but he has a lot of time left with this team to improve. Should get better every year

Absolutely true! Brennan holds every passing record in the state of MS. All of which were held by Brett Favre before broken by Brennan.

Really? Please don't carry this thinking into next season. Burrow is having one of the greatest football seasons in the history of college football. What you are suggesting is that we not only have maybe the best QB, but that his back up is just as good. Brennan may be great next season, but there are not other Joe Burrow's in college football.

With Joe Brady having another summer with MB there is a good chance I am putting up money on MB Heisman next year. I should have went with my gut instinct this year when JB was 250/1 there is a guy on the rant that did put $140 on JB and he is about to get paid 35k for for following his gut instinct

Horse shite, everyone...

I've been overtly outspoken that I believe Brennan will be absolutely outstanding next year.

He won't be Burrow, because we may never see another Burrow. But Brennan will still be three times the QB that we've gotten accustomed to in the last decade.
