Brennan in 3 years as a HS Varsity starter passed for over 15,000 yards, 165 TD's, rushed for 1141 yards and 23 TD's, and had a completion percentage of .673. He's learned behind Joe Burrow now for two years. With the continued tutelage of Steve Ensminger and Joe Brady, and the return of this receiving corp and TE Arik Gilbert, this offense should continue to be prolific.

Any melting over LSUs offensive situation going into next year is put simply, an idiot

Harris attended Parkway High School in Bossier City, Louisiana. While at Parkway, he played for the football team. He was ranked by Rivals.com as a four-star recruit and the fifth best dual-threat quarterback in his class. Harris led Parkway High School undefeated all on the road during playoffs to the LHSAA 5A state championship

On September 29, Harris was named the starter over Jennings for the teams sixth game against Auburn. In the 2014 season, he finished with 452 passing yards, six passing touchdowns, and two interceptions in eight games. In the 2015 season, he finished with 2,165 passing yards, 13 touchdowns, and six interceptions. In the 2016 season, he only appeared in two games.

On March 26, 2017, Harris decided to transfer to the University of North Carolina

Are you trying to compare a QB in Miles clusterfrick offense to what we have now?

Ree, I assume you have a point. Brandon Harris had one good game as a collegian against UF. That's it. His ego was way bigger than his game.

What I’m excited about next year is a possible personnel change that would make the offense just as dynamic as this year but gearing towards slightly different strengths.

Considering Justin Jefferson’s departure and a possible Thad Moss return, imagine Arik Gilbert taking that 3rd receiver spot...

We would then have 2 elite hybrid TE’s on the field at the same time which would provide an even better personnel group for running the football when we choose to do so without sacrificing much in the passing game.

I would like this approach when we’re relying on a lesser QB in Brennan (not superman like Burrow) and now featuring more physical downhill RB’s in TDP and Emery.

Why don't you post Brandon Harris's stats from high school and let's compare them to those of Myles Brennan?

Also Brandon Harris is on the support staff of the University of Texas Longhorns. lol Maybe Herman should name him his new OC.

Look, I’m as big a Myles fan as there is on this board, but even I know that what he did in HS doesn’t mean crap. The kid whose records he broke... Dylan Favre... Flamed out at State under Mullen(even though that was mainly due to his infatuation with a certain plant). That said, there are two big things that will make a difference for Myles. 1- He’s learned how to lead a team from a guy named Joe Burrow the last two years. Not sure if you guys have heard of him, but he just won a Heisman. 2- Myles graduates this spring, and he will be able to do as Joe has done and only take online classes, and spend all day each week with the coaches game planning. This will make a HUGE difference. I’ve said this before, but when Joe Brady came in, O essentially told him to not leave Myles’ side. Myles has gotten all the teaching he can get, it will be up to him come spring.

IMO, Myles has matured a ton since Joe came in. He finally had a mentor that wasn’t a coach to look up to and learn how to handle the “business” of being a college QB. The kid has the arm talent and the brain to do it, let’s just hope he also has the confidence.

I agree with this IF we’re operating under the assumption that CEO and Co. don’t leave an open spot in the class for a transfer QB.

At some point you must rely on your staff to develop, teach, and coach up your own QB recruits. LSU can't be known as a team always wanting, needing, and on the look out for transfer QB's. Brennan plays well for 2 years, then it will be time for Max Johnson to step up, etc.

I saw him in high school, and saw him shred the eventual Bama 5A state Champs with Bama recruits. We will be fine

Typical Ree post. Just type out a bunch of numbers with no point or substance.

I am excited too.

I just Wanna see what he can do in an open offense.

People who don’t like what they see this year need to actually watch. We close the playbook when Myles comes in the game.

Not sure if Brennan knows how to drive a Ferrari. Whether inaccurate, interceptions, indecision, or serviceable at half of Burrow's level? We will find out next year.
