May seem obvious but:

1. Prevent the home run ball. In several games Bama's has played that have been close in the third. They hit a 80 yd TD and that's it, game over. Especially in front of their home crowd. Lsu must not allow a home run ball, even if it means allowing some short stuff. Tennessee did a good job of this.

2. No PICK'S- both Uga and A&m games the pick 6s were the keys to their victory. Bama dropped 3 picks vs tenn and the game came down to the final minute

How many ways can we outplay Bama and still lose? Just score more points. Xs and Os wise, LSU has been really successful against Bama, but they need to finish.

On offense: Brandon needs to just manage the game like he's been doing, and everything will fall into place.

On defense: Slow Henry down and force Coker to throw under pressure.

Also win the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

The only key for either team: win the LOS, win the game.

I agree with your keys.

The matchup to watch is Coker against our defense -- both DBs and DLs.

We can deal with their run game much better if we can control their passing game.

Offensively, look for some wrinkles. We have some interesting play making options at every position. Will we see BH run zone read a little? HB pass?

Being not too familiar with Bama's defense, where are they appearing most vulnerable? Deep? Middle? Edge? Where ever it is, I expect to see plays to exploit it.

This game will come down to special teams play. There will be plenty of 3 and outs by both squads, so field position will be very key. Short fields because of poor punts or long returns will make the difference in this game. I don't believe either team will sustain many long drives in this game. History dictates field position key.
