my "bs negativity" is nothing but facts. Sorry you dont like it. Point out where anything I stated was false...

I had no idea LSU hired a new HC and OC
Im excited and ready for the season to start just like many. However I, unlike what appears to be a majority, are able to learn from the past (as you are advocating as with Coach O), and I am able to temper my expectations as to not be so terribly disappointed as many may be IF (I SAID IF, dont get your panties in a wad) the season doesnt pan out as we would like.

The facts under miles have absolutely nothing to do with this current team, except for the underutilized talent that remains. I don't hear a lot of people like me predicting a NC. I do, however, hear a lot of people like me saying they are excited to see a new offense...the one thing that has held miles back for years. I do also see objective experts in Vegas pegging this team as a top 10 team. So, there is much ootimism. If O fails, then we get rid of his arse. But i realize we have to endure countless posters like you that constantly say "nothing changed", "failed at OM", "8-4", "can't beat bama", and on and on. Everything has changed. Grow some nuts, lose the arrogance, show a little positive mentality. Positivity, vs negativity, will carry you much further in life son...and you'll have more fun getting there. If Lsu losing a ballgame brings you down that much, it is time for you to reconsider your priorities. Jmo

quote where I said any of that... Ill wait.

I know things have changed, see my previous post

O at ole miss has absolutely nothing to do with him at LSU now. You can check my post history to see that I have said nothing to the contrary. Anyone that thinks along those lines is a retard.

Not sure what point you are trying to make with the "8-4" part We did go 8-4 last year. Thats fact....

Im not obsessed with bama like most here so again, that part means nothing to me.

Im not being arrogant, Im simply tempering my expectations because Ive seen this same offseason narrative play out too many times. Even after staff changes. Sorry that offends you so much.

I do have a positive mentality and am excited about the season. I just chose to temper expectations. It is posible to separate the two, you realize that right? If you dont good for you. Thats awesome.

Reading comprehension isnt your thing is it? The fact that I have tempered my expectations over the past few years means that the loses dont have an effect on me. I still go to the games, tailgate all day, and scream for the entire time, but I dont lose any sleep over the outcomes.

You paint with a broad brush. Might want to do something about that.

Ahh, so you don't believe people improve through experience and hard work. You also like to worry about "farther" down the line...I now understand you.

Never, since College Football started recording such data(1921), has a coach won an NC after starting his HC career as bad as O at ole miss.

Never. Not one time.

Sure, coaches improve. But based on factual history, not that much.
