Overall great town. Food was good. Plenty of beggars however. Scooters were the bomb. Texas fans extremely courteous & friendly. Tailgating experience is horrific. Stadium was electric at kickoff & beginning of 4th quarter. Estimate 5-7 thousand LSU fans who were vocal as expected. LSU defense was atrocious, especially #1. JB is Ice man. 1st time in a long time I looked forward to offense taking the field. Post game celebratory options were limited & subdued. Had a great trip, especially with the win, but Texas fans will have a a far superior experience in BR next year, even though they’ll lose again.

This seems like the most accurate estimate I've read. Maybe 10k at the most. Visually (on TV) the stadium was a sea of burnt orange

You must have been in the wrong spot. Austin has way better options for late night drunkenness than baton Rouge.

Yeh probably so. Was miserable exiting Texas stadium/campus & my crew must’ve just opted for the nearest bar/restaurant. Just sayin the overall college game day experience is far superior in BR.

No doubt. I went to a Texas game in 1979 and was thoroughly disappointed. But I also went to Austin in 1988 and a friend took me around to see different bands and it was incredible. Its all about perspective.

Hopefully Woodward has a blimp Texas fans can watch from next year. Papa burrow watching from the nosebleeds is inexcusable

Just got back from the game and post game experience. Stadium was jacked. My friend who is Horn alum said this was the most electric he has ever seen the stadium. There at least 10-12k minimum Tiger fan in the stands spread out everywhere. Most of the fans were cordial. Chicks were hot with denim mini skirts and cowboy boots. Tigers showed grit and kick arse offense. Our D could not stop them much and Ehlinger and their receivers are damn good and ate up our DB’s. Proud to be a Tiger.
