In terms of records, no. Furniss is at the top or near the top of pretty much every category.

Bregman
If we're picking a token Paul guy, Mahtook, Dean and Nola are better choices than Bregman.

Considering he is responsible for the sports most famous play, plus was a solid player when healthy?
If he's not there, he's definitely in the conversation.

If Walker played 4 years and improved his senior year like Furniss he would have him beat...still a better hitter based on avg. He was the most clutch hitter we have ever had.

Obviously... which is why Walker is on my mountain. Doesn't negate the fact that Furniss rewrote the record book.

Larson's numbers in 1997 were sick.

Agreed, but his case is hurt for playing just one season.

I'm not quite sure you grasped the "Mount Rushmore" part.

Nola is criminally underrated. He is on his way to being a number 1 starter in the MLB, and these are his career numbers at LSU:
2.09 ERA----30-6 W/L-------345 SO----------------52 BB------------0.8795 WHIP
A 0.8795 WHIP is fricking unreal

No, he's not in the conversation.
McDonald, Walker, & Furniss are definitely the top 3. Could make an argument for several guys in the 4th spot, but I'd probably have to go with Blake Dean or Albert Belle.

Yep, he would've been my 5th... A very solid argument can be made that he is the best LSU pitcher ever.
