that was hysterical ... i would have to say that the streaker during the delay of the Oregon State game was the best "fan-on-field" incident that i have seen at tiger stadium ... especially since the security guards couldn't tackle him ... it was awesome!
I got so soaked before that game that we went home in time to see 2nd half.

I go with 1979 USC when so many of us stayed after the game was over and cheered the team after a loss. It was incredible.

Watching the Saints play in Tiger Stadium/being able to purchase and consume beer openly in Tiger Stadium.
Not to mention Saban was on the opposing sideline in one of these.

'97 Fla. I was sitting in the South end zone, you could see the hole open up before Herb Tyler broke the line of scrimage and I knew, at that moment, LSU was gonna kick Florida's arse that knight. My most vivid memory of Tiger Stadium.
Great thread by the way.

I can't remember if it was 1991 or 92, but in the west stands and older gentleman collapsed and they called the paramedics, but you could tell he had just had a massive heartattack. They carried him off on a stretcher, but he never responded and died right there in Tiger Stadium. I will never forget it cuz I was working in the concession that night and I had walked out the see the score and a few plays and it happened right near me.
Surreal.
Surreal.

Faneca was a monster on that play. He had a great game among many great games.

What was the atmosphere like when Virginia Tech came onto the field? I was unable to make that game and the TV broadcast did a shite job of showing what happened. I would have to think that was a moment unlike any other in Tiger Stadium considering what happened at Va Tech that summer.

I was wondering if anyone else recalls this game. One of the strangest things I have ever seen, it was behind the SW corner (early 2000's). Half of the sky pitch black and the other half of it almost crystal clear blue sky with a rainbow. I remember looking at it and thinking damn that's some crazy shite. I was hoping that if anyone else recalls it, they could help confirm the game (and thereby the date).

The skydivers landing before the Va. Tech game in 2007 and our band showing class by playing their alma mater as a good will gesture after the shooting tragedy they had experienced in the spring.

The most surreal moment for me was when we "lost" to UT only to get another shot and "win". I went from pure heartbreak to being estatic.

At first I was like
Then I was like
I was so overwhelmed I couldn't process it.

I was there but tbh I don't remember anything about the fanfare surrounding it.

Yeah, the VT atmosphere was solid, but nothing to write home about.
Our game-winning drive against UF in 2007 comes to mind.

This game was amazing not only did we get to beat auburn but also it was the game that was moved back cause 9/11... Also think it was one of the coldest games in TS...

Being on the field after we beat Florida in 97. Being a kid from Wisconsin I always dreamed of tearing down the goalposts after a big win. The badgers were awful when I was growing up and it didn't sem like it would ever happen at Lsu. That night we had no business being in that game we were a 20 point underdog. The stars were properly aligned and my date had a camera in her purse and I have pics of me on the field in tears tearing down the goalposts. It was a dream come true and I will never ever have a moment that means more to me. Am I a little crazy about Lsu football, you could say so.

82 vs Florida State with the bombardment of oranges the entire game, then that mysterious fog rolling in during the second half.

Vs Troy watching the remaining fans make angel wings during the comeback. And before kickoff of the app state game before gustav. The stadium felt so tense.

When I thought we lost to Tennessee last year

2000 Bama game: we were loosing and two guys run to mid field turn and moon the Bama team near south endzone. The momentum shifted and we won to break the 30 year loosing streak in TS to Bama!
For me it was the Bama game two years before that when we should have ended that streak. We watched, I think it was Robert Davis, tip two passes into the hands of Bama receivers in the 4th quarter...they both went for TD's, and we lost the game. Pretty sure I wept.
