Most inconsistent LSU Baseball team ever?

No doubt.

Ever since I followed LSU baseball, I’ve never seen a team like this. You just don’t know what to expect on the next games.

17 SEC wins in the first season of the J Johnson era. 100 plus home runs. And all that with significant injuries and, really this is the most important part, without a typical starting pitching rotation. What I expect is for them to win. What a FANTASTIC season.

It's been a good season, and if we can claw our way to 40 wins it'll be a really successful start to the JJ Era.

That being said, the OP is right. This team is absolutely wild. We go from getting swept by Ol' Piss at him one weekend to absolutely blowing the doors off Vandy 3 in a row in their house.

Consistent teams have two stud pitchers they can roll out every weekend. That's just not how this team is made. We rely on the bullpen and offense to win games. We will win some and lose some.

Inconsistency has been super common in the SEC this year...strange season.
