One of the reasons Billy Cannon, Jr. didn't want to come to LSU is because he would always be in his dad's shadow. I wouldn't want to be Billy Cannon, Tommy Hodson, or any great Tiger football player's son and come play here. the pressure would be too much, especially for billy jr.

*Over the years though my perception of him has softened quite considerably due to his good nature, community involvement, and the fact that he has included Baton Rouge in many of his community endeavors. Due to these reasons, the hatred has subsided and been replaced by a general dislike which now is more like a I really don't care so much but I hope he keeps up his charity works.
Warrick dunn DID NOT turn his back on anyone or any place. He went to the right place for him at the time. Again Curley wanted to make him a defensive back. Long NFL career for Warrick as a DB...Right?
Warrick is a totally classy young man who did what he had to do for himself and his brothers and sisters at the time.
Anyone hatin' on Warrick Dunn over his going to Florida State needs to seriously rethink his priorities.

LSU signed 2 very highly recruited QBs in 1997: Rohan Davey and Craig Nall. Applewhite was never offered. Applewhite wasn't even ranked in the top 3 Qbs in the state of Louisiana. He was ranked behind Nall, Slade Nagle and the Evangel qb that signed w/ North Carolina (forget his name)

Drew Dossett, he is good friends with my dad. He actually left USC I think. He is now the team doctor for the Dallas Cowboys.

i dont why ya'll hate the mannings.... it'd be like one of us living in bama having two kick arse QB sons who left bama to go to lsu or florida or anywhere but bama or auburn because we hate them so much....... archie hates lsu, raised his sons to hate lsu. why would they come here.
