I hope mett doesn't go to Cleveland. That team is a black hole for quality college football players.

Per ESPN INsider (Public portion of the article):

quote:

Quarterbacks such as Central Florida's Blake Bortles, LSU's Zach Mettenberger and Fresno State's Derek Carr aren't expected to be at the event; the Vikings met with all of them, as well as Alabama's AJ McCarron and Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel after their on-campus pro days. Those meetings, or private workouts like the ones the Vikings had with San Jose State quarterback David Fales, can often be as helpful as the Vikings' event next week. But as the draft gets closer, the Vikings will use many of their visits to spend time with a wide range of prospects who could be taken anywhere from the first round to the middle of the draft.

Looks like all the top QBs got similar visits.

I don't know if the vets in Houston will like his attitude. Specifically, Arian Foster.

He's proving to be more and more of a cancer to the Texans (not just with injuries) so his term with the Texans is about up.

Right before the draft Ryan"s stock was surging. This year its Metts. This happens every year.

Nassib was more of the exception than the rule. QBs stock rises fast and usually propels them higher than originally thought. Metts stock was non existent for a while after the knee injury. Now that he can throw its going up.

Nassibs was thought to go up because of a terrible class of QBs and his college QB was picking 9th overall. Once he got past there, he and all the other QBs slide down the draft board.

Bridgewater is a bettercomparison to Nassib than Mett.

Has more to do with the system that Brees is in.
I call major BS. Don't knock Brees just cause he is in a system that fits him. If it were that easy, everyone would be running that system. Brees puts in more work than any player not named Peyton Manning to perfect his craft.

Manziel would be killed in Jacksonville. What makes you think he would succeed there?

He's not erratic and he doesn't just throw it up for grabs to his WRs
The majority of JF's WRs are 6'2+ so all he has to do is wait til one gets open and chunk it up.

Watching the LSU/Bama game this is what he does like 50% of the time. He runs around forever and then lobs it up to one of his big targets. That shite won't translate to the NFL
