I don't follow players Twitter so I can't answer if he's said anything or not.

But you're right, the 11th round is not an automatic turn down round.

And his catcher in high school, Papierski, was also drafted by the Blue Jays which might be a factor.

they can come play together for 3 or 4 years at LSU. i would hope that wouldn't sway them, but then again i'm not an 18 year old who just got drafted
