They said he sent a letter to them so that was obviously true. Even so surprised someone didn't take a flyer on him.

Everyone is talking about Deichmann and Marshall, and rightfully so, but I really think Byrd is going to to be a great player also.
Overall probably the best class we're going to get on campus in a long time. Hopefully they don't do anything stupid and get kicked off the team.

Two days later it was announced LSU was going to a different bowl and I've never watched WAFB sports again.
To me that channel's entire news and sports reporting philosophy is to report every rumor first and then retract it when the facts come out.
