Mississippi State football game

I am making the trip so Starkville this year for the football game. I may buy tickets through LSU and they are now on sale. I know where the visitors sections are. Right now, the tickets show up as reserved seats, with no specific details. I know season ticket holders get first rights, and based off priority points. I have none of those. My question is, if I buy tickets through LSU, when will I find out where my seats are specifically? Any chance of being in the lower bowl?

why don't you just call the LSU ticket office? I'm sure they could answer your questions far more efficiently and accurately than anyone here

I've made the last two trips there and won't be going back. Folks are friendly and it's a nice campus, but I've had my fill of cowbells.
FWIW, their upper deck is much lower than most. So seats there are not bad.

People are nice, but the cowbells are obnoxious and there isn't much to the city of Starkville.
Close and cheap enough to definitely be worth crossing off the list.

It is a small stadium. You want to be in the lower end of the upper bowl. The cowbells are annoying as hell in the lower bowl. Bring ear plugs if you end up there.

4 years ago we sat in the lower bowl first row. Seats weren’t expensive but be careful where you park. That traffic made the traffic after an LSU game look mild.

Wait till week of the game and you can get great seats lower bowl
