I am most interested in how the Oline performed. No one here ihas offered much info good, or bad. I took my grandson to Grand Isle fishing and we picked up 5 dozen live crabs on the way back, after losing both parents to Covid last year, any moments with family is special. And how many fans attended? Thanks!

Damn. There is a lot going on in that post. Not sure how any of it is related though.

Did you lose both of his parents on the way back from picking up the crabs???

The offense looked fast, cohesive, and polished most of the time. I feel like there’s a lot of competence on this staff. Makes me very happy.

Loss both to Covid a week apart last year. So going on a weekend fishing trip with your grandson heals a lot .

Sorry for your losses. Hope y'all had a great day.

I watched the baseball so not much help.

From what I can gather Nuss impressed at QB. Bout it.

Not surprising. Nuss has a competitive nature to him, he’s not going to give an inch in this competition.

I can only predict that the backup QB will be the Rant’s favorite.

Aside from Nuss really showing out, I was impressed by the running game.
Bradford looks to have gotten bigger. He and Goodwin are FAST

I think We have some tinkering to do.

I’ll say this, our DL should dominate.

Bj/Smith/Roy/Gaye SHOULD be an elite group that should get the better of all but the absolute best OLs in the country.

We looked much better vs the 2c who are still talented guys. Guillory, Wingo, Langston and Carter aren’t scrubs.

Campbell is impressive for how young he is.

The RBs looked good too.
Emery (in limited time) Goodwin and Bradford looked very good.

Most impressed out of the RB group. We have 3-4 really reliable backs with good speed and durability.

DL should be the best in the SEC. We essentially have two starting lines with how deep we are there.

The receiving corps is as advertised. Bech looks like he put on some good weight. BTJ is a freak. Nabers is always around the ball.

Then there is the old QB battle. Nuss has the most raw talent out of the group. I also like the way he interacts with teammates, and the confidence and “swag” he plays with. Myles looks the same. When the pocket is clean he makes an accurate throw and can go through progressions. Daniels is a lot of legs, but BK said something about him changing his footwork.

Overall, I feel very confident in the staff, and I think it was an absolutely phenomenal recruiting weekend.

With that many running backs playing well, LSU’s Oline has improved.

Probably so… I felt that they were quicker to the hole than last year. Could just be my eyes playing tricks on me.
