That was like the 1 bad play from Flott all season long right there. Would have been a nice 3 and out right there on 3rd and 10.

yep, those are on the players...the touchdown before half was horrible.

What Dodd says: "Is it me, or has Orgeron's job security become a week-to-week proposition? The loss to Auburn didn't help. The Tigers are now 3-2 with Alabama and Georgia running away with the SEC."
The word: The losses are one thing along with the program's noticeable decline in terms of trajectory, but how the Tigers have looked is what is most alarming. LSU is not winning at the line of scrimmage and you could make the argument this team has looked soft in the trenches on both sides of the football.

It did. They converted 3 or 4 third downs in a row on that one play. I called it every time. The last time my wife even said "I bet they do that same play". She was correct.
Absolutely mind blowing that we couldn't adjust and slow that down in such crucial spots.

The defense failed epically in this respect. Should have sacked Nix multiple times. This team is just bad. That is it.

Look at Gaye on this third down. He somehow whiffs on this sack attempt, and Nix completes the third down pass
Think back to the guys we used to have coming off the edge. Does Chaisson miss this? Arden Key? Sam Montgomery? etc.?
You can put players in the right position all day long, but if they don't have the chops to get it done, it ultimately doesn't matter

They never adjust. Never. And when the opposing team figures out what we’re doing and adjusts accordingly, LSU has no answer to counter it.

Goodness that is so bad it almost seemed like Flott was pissed at someone on the sidelines so he just intentionally lets him get a 1st.

Gaye just isn’t a good player. Looks good in a uniform but can’t execute against superior talent. Andre Anthony would’ve made that tackle.

I absolutely lost my fricking mind when I saw that and Flott has been good otherwise this year so far. How do you break down in front of a guy to hit him and then just peel off? That was so bad it was like it was done on purpose

He didn't break down. He jumped to the spot, landed on two feet and had no ability to change direction. That's the opposite of breaking down. Exceedingly poor technique.
