I expect Mississippi State to play their best game this week. Their running game attacks our weakness.

After LSUs emotional win and everyone looking ahead to BAMA, Mississippi State will give LSU all they can handle.

Hopefully the fans bring their A game Saturday night or it could get ugly in a hurry.

We're going to be out for blood after they boatraced us on national tv last year. I expect a two touchdown victory

If we had beaten MooU last year, I’d be worried this week, but the arse whipping they gave us should prevent a let down/look ahead.

Ain’t worried.
Do you think our players and fans forgot what happened last year?

Aranda needs to sell out in stopping the run. Leave the WRs in man-to-man. Drop delpit down into the box, and force Fitzgerald to throw.

The best defense against the run is to put fricking points up on that scoreboard!!
This will be the best defensive front 7 LSU has seen to date. Ensminger will need to call his best game. Burrow will not have much time to throw, so getting the ball out of his hands quickly, and establishing our running game will be key!

Again?

Games vs Miami, Auburn, Florida and Georgia have helped our OL improve during the year.

To be completely honest, I would rather be coming off a game like we just had than a bye. All a bye week does is get you healthy (which I agree we could use) but at the same time it kills the momentum. Beat a big team with ease is a huge confidence booster

Nah...the Tigers will wreck shite. They smell blood in the West and they have an ax to grid with Moo State from 2017...won't even be close...

Look at the numbers.

Sweat > Polite who absolutely destroyed us. Simmons is probably the best interior D-Lineman in the SEC.

With that being said, I don't think these coaches allow them to dominate us like Florida did. I also think Saahdiq will be better prepared now.

it is so different playing a good pass rush at home than it is in a hostile environment like FL

every team they have played has done this.
Fitz threw for 69 yards against auburn and they won easily. they had the ball for 40 minutes in that game.

the key will be sustaining drives on offense and not losing the TOP battle. We can't win if we don't have the ball, and we don't have the front 7 depth to be on defense that much.

I think we'll be fine, but our tackling leaves much to be desired, and Fitz and Hill aren't easy to bring down. UGA was stupid to not run the ball more b/c they were picking up nice yards on every run, much like Florida did to us.

I predict Aranda will call a similar defensive game as he did against UGA.

He will start out dropping the safeties back, MSU will recognize it, run the ball and it will force our first defender to make the tackle. If our first defender misses the tackle Aranda will shift out of that defense, place our safeties in the box for run support and our CBs will man up on the outside. This will force Fitzgerald to throw.

It would be nice if Aranda's base defense can get the job done but regardless Aranda will mix it up enough to stuff MSU.

Home field advantage gives the home team a quarter step at the line of scrimmage, IMO.

Only once this season.

But if T-Bob said that, he should know.

Eaux and the team know what's at stake.
