A living legend who still had it and y’all didn’t realize what we had.

Don’t it always seem to go that you don’t know what you got till it’s gone

Ehh, I'd rather take a shot with some new blood than lose another Super Regional.

Regardless of the new coach, it was time for him to go.

He gave up on recruiting and building an elite coaching staff while relying on former players with little to no coaching experience.

Take Reyzelman and Berry off this team and what do you have? A poor pitching staff with less offense

Give it a year or so and see where the team is then I'll answer.

I wasn't in favor of running Paul off like some were but I do agree it was time and glad he got to resign and wasn't kicked on the street like many here wanted.

The man was a solid coach for LSU for many years and always had LSU in the hunt and competing

People used to be so fricking mad at Paul for playing defensive guys who couldn’t hit. Now Jay is playing offensive guys who can’t defend and people are just as furious.

I’m sure we could trot out Cranford and Safford and cut down the errors and lose games 3-2 instead of 7-6 but then we’d be calling Jay PM reincarnated.

I miss the clean defense. That’s about it.

He also pretty much said he was burnt out and that was apparent, as the team was on cruise control, did not see a chance to return to Omaha...
