depends on the grade of his MCL sprain.. takes about a solid month for those to heal.

Hopefully they don't trot out a limping mett on the field

They should not play him unless he is 100%. No use in endagering his chance in the NFL.

The Heisman is awarded before the bowls, so we'll likely have the Heisman winner as our backup. Not too shabby.

We'll see... Lots of factors to consider... Obviously Mett's health #1... Date of bowl game... Opponent may also play a factor... And let's not forget it's entirely up to Mett on playing, he may decide to sit, even if healthy enough to play, but I doubt it.

Everyone should see this as good news.

I have a feeling there will be a lot of threads about Jennings starting, getting significant playing time, but Mett has earned the start in this bowl and deserves a proper send-off with a bowl win.
