Sorry, but you can't sub your opinion for fact no matter highly you value your opinion.

Lots of things changed at LSU in 1999-2000 when the TAF stepped to the plate and ME decided LSU would not continue to go cheap with its football hires.

If you fail to understand where the real foundation came from, then you are the real dumbass.

Knew he was going pro after the 2003 seasons NC game. It was just a matter of who wanted to spen the money on him and when.

So what? He took the 2004 season off because he was done with LSU?

There goes your Nick love fest again.

The guy was very good at LSU and he's much better at Alabama, but the legend you want to make out of him at LSU is only valid in your mind.

All of those guys would be an improvement from Miles. No one expects to beat Saban every year or win the SEC every year. I believe those coaches would get the most out of our talent each year.

you may be a dedicated miles hater but you are stupid as shite when it comes to college football coaches. i am extremely glad you are a nobody in the LSU program or you would have the program down the drain.

31 my bad. So we just discredit sabans seasons where he was mediocre? 2002 was a shite offense. How do you go 8-5 with Will uschamp and jimbo fisher coaching your really talented team?

Before LSU won it's first BCSNCG? Damn right. 90's were lean years and there was a lot of rebuilding to do. Saban also left the cupboard very full.

Much like 2010

That team had really young talent. If Miles wins a NC next year I'm sure this season will be forgotten.

So the coaches I suggested were bad and I'm stupid? Ok you're right miles is a football genius and we're so lucky to be paying him 4MM a year to frick it up every week. Go back to your bridge game lsu grandad you're going senile.

You're missing the point Jiwill.......... It's not that those coaches are bad..... It's just you are insisting they are better than Miles. But you have nothing to base that on other than your opinion ....which is useless.

They are! He s not a good coach good lord how can you defend this guy. They're not LSU's actual coach so of course there is no way of proving my argument until they were actually hired. I know they would be an improvement because anyone who has watched lsu over miles tenure can see he's clueless out there. What do you think miles does well other than recruit? Even that is skewed because we are the flagship school in a talent rich state. Really what does he do well? Offensive play calling? Defense? Developing our O-line? Clock management? What? I don't hate the guy. I actually think he's a good family man which I respect more than anything but he's in over his head. There's no denying it. Look I'm not going to convince you and vice versa so we'll just continue to support our tigers and hopefully things improve with or without les miles

LSU is winning football games at a higher rate under Miles than ANY coach in our history before him who coached a relevant period of time here.

I hope you have no kids so that the retardism ends with you.

There are plenty. I sometimes wonder if Lane Kiffin, if given a real program, and not shite-holes like UT and USC (at the time), he wouldn't do better at LSU. No reason, we shouldn't be able to pull Kirby Smart here or Jimbo Fisher here if we even wanted. Yeah no hc experience on the part of Smart but that would be a gamble I wouldn't mind taking. frick all of you who disagree.

You win the award for the dumbest fricking thing I've ever read on here and I doubt it will ever be beat. Lane Killin? I don't even...

Considering that LSU and Bama are the past 2 sec champions, seems like every other sec coach us in over their head. Cus obviously they can't do better than miles and saban.
