Do you pay me to win games or to give you the details about how I'm going to win them? ITS NOT PRESENTLY ANY OF YOUR BUSINESS WHO IS GOING TO START AT QB. You don't trust me as the coach, then fire me. Till then, I'm in charge.
P.S. - Have a Great Day!

Holy shite...this is the best post I have read on here in a long time. The only thing that would have made it better is if you had said "P.S. Have a great day!"
That people feel a sense of entitlement to information like this has always baffled me. You want to know who the starting QB is going to be? Tune in to the first game and whichever guy puts his hands under the center's arse on the first play is your man...

That said, if I were placing a bet which I'm not, I'd bet Lee takes the most starter snaps next season.
I don't like to call names.... but you are the dumbest!

Look you punk. First you get on here and claim a completely different description of a play disputing someone else's description. The video proves you wrong. You say anything for effect w/o it having a single shred of truth.
Here's the link idiot. You'll see a great pass between defenders at the :30 mark.
Yet even after this link was previously posted you come back w/ more crapola. Your a fraud.
Why don't you research something before you post. And if you want to call me out, you need to be coming w/ facts, not mindless drivel.

30 sec mark. LINK
yall are right JL doesnt like to stay in pocket and take a hit.
First point... agreed. Even though it was into coverage... better decision/throw than I remembered.
I also concede your second point on this play.
Bear in mind, that I support this kid, and think that we'll need him down the road. I just don't agree with posters that say he should start over J.J., unequivocally.
You're right, though, to call me out on this.

glad to see you can own up, not a common thing around here.

When I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I appreciate a good point whether I agree with it or not. Despite what others might do on this board, I learn from mistakes.

Agree 100%...JL is a good talent and a good kid, anybody who has a problem with this kind of player on our team is dead wrong.
Don't want to get cheesy or gay but JL definitely went through one of the toughest years of any freshman QB in the country and he showed a ton of courage, etc...he is a Tiger, appreciate him.

haha...good one.
Honestly, I just feel for the kid...he is just practically in a no win situation. No margin for error if/when he plays again...I still blame our defense/co dc's much more than our qb's (i.e. JL) last year. Everyone knew qb's would struggle, no excuse for the d though. Also, JJ would have gotten absolutely destroyed if had had been thrown to the wolves any earlier than he was imho.
Fans will be fans but negativity and entitlement never benefit a program. JL showed flashes of brilliance along with flashes of extreme boneheadedness...he is not a bum by any means. Tough tough situation for the guy, hope things work out for him and he will be better and stronger in football and life in the future.

that's your opinion, but just think if JJ was actually worked into the gameplan from day one, and not just taking practice reps with the 2nd and third teamers?
we saw what he could do with a month with the 1st string...
looked to me like in the bowl game the whole team rallied around him and fed off of the QB play.
with jarrett lee? not so much.
the team just lost faith in him, which maybe caused Lee to lose faith in himself.
he still has a really good arm, but JJ IMO fits crowtons playbook to a T.
I don't see jarrett lee doing any QB draws anytime soon.
that's what was hard about a 2 QB system where one was allowed to run 90 percent, and the other throw 99.99 percent.
other teams see jarrett lee come into the game, and they can sit back and tee off on him because they KNOW he CANNOT run.
and when the coaches have someone that can run (jefferson) they should have let him pass more.
I hope this year crowton runs shepard a little, and then lets him loose.
the tebow option-throw play works well because the other team doesn't know what he's going to do.

even my girlfriend knew who the ball was going to when jarrett lee was QB'ing.
and if she knew, I think the other teams defense certainly knew.
I remember after the bama game, where the bama defender was asked how he got 3 interceptions in one game.
he responded with: "easy, I just watched his eyes, he never looked off his receiver" (paraphrased)
