so thinking someone is a better player means that you have to berate or degrade the other guy?
I clearly stated nothing is wrong with having a favorite... if you blieve JJ is a better qb than JL then fine, i dont have a prob with that..
However I do have a problem when people such as yourself feel the need to put one plyer down to promote the other.

quote:And giving up long TD after long TD to Georgia was helpful? How is it that when our defense plays horribly against Arkansas, it's their fault; but when the defense plays horribly against Georgia, or Ole Miss, or Troy, it's somehow Lee's fault?
Are defense was the reason we lost against Arkansas this year, not JJ. Our defense in the Arkansas game giving up 80 yard plays and drop kicking the ball after they made a crucial stop didn't help poo!
The defense took the field in the 3rd quarter of the Florida game, down by less than a touchdown, after back to back TD drives by the offense, with 10 minutes of game time plus the halftime to rest up and adjust to Florida's gameplan, and what did they do? Gave up TD after TD. Was that somehow Lee's fault, too? After leading back to back TD drives, should he have run out to play linebacker, too, to stop Florida's stretch running game?
The double standard used by some to trash Lee is laughable. Especially when there is so much room for legitimate criticism.

you have a jarrett lee agenda, and it's see through.

Those benchmarks aren't even that impressive, and the stats themselves are pretty irrelevant.

The lack of pregression by JL was bothersome...
The lack of progression? More like collapse and descension into total failure. He plagued the offense. I'm not trying to degrade him as you say, but he does not deserve to start over Jefferson. He is not a solution to a problem, rather he is the problem. His attributes aren't parallel with the direction Crowton wants to take this offense. If I were him I would transfer.

since you either have a a hard time comprehending basic logic, or you just don't care to, i'll explain it to you.
jarrett lee, on the first play from the line of scrimmage threw a gift into the hands of a georgia player, point blank. He never looked off his man, he was locked on target from the start of the play to the INT, which was returned for 6 points. I know this happened, because I was there, in the georgia section.
the defense already knew it had to hang on for dear life during games because of the defensive coaching (nuff said) or them not caring if the QB is going to give up 7 points at least once every game. it's DEMOTIVATING.
The defense held together for the arkansas game for the most part.
LSU was up 30 to 14 at one point.
Most LSU fans thought the team had that one in the bag.
then came in the "bend don't break" defense again.
How can you put that loss on a true freshmen's shoulders when he helped lead his team to 30 points in his first collegiate start ever?
the defense gave up play after play in that second half, and it was disturbing to watch.
the players blaming each other, the coaches ect...
most noticeable was curtis taylor laughing when they lost the game. I think he just found it comical at that point on how bad the coaching was at that point to put hawkins in that spot.
Also, dropping a game ending INT for the tigers was not helpful either.

Off problems?? We avg 25 fuking pts a game when JL started.
JJ started 2 games?? thats all you need to see from him to make such a bold staemtent???? WTF was your opinion about JL after his 2nd start?
People like you and doc are the ones who should transfer.
You idiots seem to forget these guys were freshman. I suppose the yrs of MM, JR, MF which were ALL upperclassmen tend to do that to some.

"Mediocre" is a subjective term. Numbers don't tell the whole story, but feel free to give me the numbers if you'd like. Don't forget to include interceptions.

Look up two posts.

Either you're drinking bad water, in which case I think there is still hope for you - try Ozarka. Or, you have a mental disability - maybe stem cell research or advances in surgery will find an answer? Or, you are poorly educated and have likely given up on yourself already - if you change your mind, I suggest starting with a GED, followed by community college.
Don't talk to me about logic. You people make me sick
quote:This is, I suppose, the post to which you actually were referring. And this one is as foolish as the others, as it asserts definitively that Jefferson will be the backup to Lee. However, this post had not been made when the post to which I responded was made. Thus, the assertion of people insisting "unequivocally" that Lee should be the starter was baseless when it was made unless some similar post earlier in the thread exists that I missed when making my response.
JJ hasnt proved anything except that he will be an ok back up behind JLee

i'm sure if you polled 100 casual LSU fans and asked them who the better QB was between jefferson and lee, at least 90 percent would say jefferson.

and you can take your stats and shove them up your proverbial a-hole.
why put out stats when you don't see the big picture anyways?

NOW THAT IS FUKING FUNNY
Bottom line is the big picture is what all you JL haters cant seem to grasp... things like pressure, importance of certain games, YOUTH, defensive problems, playcalling, and lack of TEAM leadership all played a part in JL's problems last season.

he didn't, he clearly put the loss on the defese...just like he did for the Florida and Georgia games. It's you that has a problem finding the similarities in these games...

so why'd he do so bad, and other red shirt freshman did okay?
