Had Lee thrown it as much as McCoy, he'd have had 53 interceptions. . .with 26 returned for TD's

The fact that half of Lee's interceptions were returned for 6 is freakish bad luck.

McCoy would have had 15 returned for TDs with the same percentage.

you said:

the stats said:

79 rushing attempts

Therefore, the stats say you are wrong.

wow. and after the 2009 season I can see it now. "oh, he didnt have time to learn the system yet, 2 years isnt enough, he will be great next year!"

Jason Campbell QB Washington Redskins
2005 207 ATT and 6 INT Rookie season
2007 417 ATT and 11 INT 2nd. season
2008 506 ATT and 6 INT 3rd. season

Learning to play QB is a long process that is not accomplished in one season.

Jason Lee only started in high school football for two years, red shirted one year with Flynn and Perrioux getting virtually all the practice reps during the season, and then had to assume the starting QB position for the defending National Champions.

Why can't you idots give the kid a break and support all our QBs?

Three pointless posts by a clueless ranter.

that's your opinion, but just think if JJ was actually worked into the gameplan from day one, and not just taking practice reps with the 2nd and third teamers?

i really hate when people say this.

there was absolutely zero reason to start JJ over JL at the beginning of the season.

eta: i would like to see JJ start this season though. but to say the coaches should have just sat the two guys that have spent a year in the system and go with a true freshman is just crazy.

I wonder why Crowton and Miles didn't think of playing J.J. at the beginning of the season.

Can any clueless ranter take a blind stab in the dark at that one?

answer this yes or no:

was jefferson given a legit shot at the starting QB spot at the beginning of the season?
