Watching State and Stanford. Interview from earlier in the season with M. Martin. " It's our job to coach these kids to continue to get better. If they keep making the same mistakes over and over again, it's not their fault, it's ours as coaches for not doing our jobs. " .... So, the continued stupid base running by some of the same players, the inability to choke up on a bat, make contact to move runners or score them from 3rd with less than 2 outs, etc., etc.... It's on CPM and this coaching staff.

When it's 1 or 2 players making physical mistakes, that's on the players.
When the majority of players are making mental mistakes, that's on coaching.

Good point because Martin's multiple national championships are due largely to his players never repeating a mistake.
