If LSU goes 4-1 this week, that is perfectly acceptable. Anybody who doesn't think so is a complete and total moron.

Just posted in the game three from Wilson Alexander's Twitter....
quote:

LSU has won fewer midweek games per season since it went to the College World Series in 2015, but the decline doesn't prove much. When LSU played for the national championship in 2017, it had its worst midweek record under coach Paul Mainieri.

Don't know and really don't care to be honest. It doesn't have any bearing on the season goals whatsoever.

I just quoted you that LSU got to the CWS Finals in a year that LSU had their worst midweek record under Mainieri and you're gonna argue that midweek losses have an impact on our season goals?

Yeah maybe if we had won a couple more midweek games we would have won that national championship.

Some years it does some it doesnt. Last year it was absolutley the reason we weren't a national seed. Ended up not mattering since Georgia lost their regional but we couldve hosted no matter what had we won more of the midweek games.
