Noticed Dandy Don's poll results, this morning, had Grant Delpit over Devin White, 55% to 39%, respectively. He says there were over 5,300 votes. I think Delpit is great, but really thought White would have polled over him. Curious what the Rant thinks.

Why would you think that? Have you seen Delpit play this season?

Delpit's stats thus far: 4 sacks, 5 INTs (leads nation), 54 tackles, 8.5 TFL's
Delpit very well might be the best defensive player in the country not just at LSU

Hmmm....

Over/under Grant Delpit is suspended for targeting before the half.

Delpit should have won by a larger margin

I love D. White. I am so happy we have him. But the team would hurt far more without Delpit doing what he has done all over the field. White will be missed until the second half, NO DOUBT, but with Delpit on the field, the D will hang on until he returns.

Why would you think that.

White is great but Delpit is having an SEC Defensive Player of the Year type season.

If the MLB does his job, he doesn't stand out, he just gets the job done. Not as noticeable as interceptions and sacks/tackles on blitzes. Both are having great years.

Really? Delpit is having the closest thing to a "Honey Badger" season since 2011. You could argue he hasn't just been the best defensive player on LSU's team, but the best in the country.
