Maybe I'm late to the party, and this has almost certainly been discussed, but do we have any timeline on when Divinity returns to the team? His statement mentioned graduating in December and returning to the team at some point...are we to take that as joining the team upon graduation? If that's the case, graduation is Dec 20...so he would be back for the playoffs, right?

well I'm trying to think about this now that you mention it, and hasn't he played only 4 games this year? could he redshirt and come back next year?

ETA: just researched. he's played 5 games

LSU left that out there as an incentive for him to get his shite together. It'd take a a lot of effort on his part to convince LSU to reinstate him.

Kid appears to be on track to graduate which is a great step in the right direction

It has to be killing him that he was not on the field last Saturday in BDS.

I would expect that any issue that required him to leave the team would require at least a month to resolve itself.

His replacements played a whale of a game.

Jimmy Burrow's comments on OTB this morning was interesting in how a professional sees defense in this game. His perspective was basically stats mean nothing but we dominated meaningful plays during the game. We got enough stops to get LSU ahead where the O kept them.

Where did you hear this? Sounds plausible, but is this an opinion or something you know or heard?

He’s not coming back. O was just being nice saying the door was still open but they have moved on. You can’t just sit and wait for a guy to get his shite together.

Divinity said in his tweet he would be back in december.
