I think his man will have a senior season very similar to Debo Jones. This guy is on a mission. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him play himself into a second round selection next year. Our defense is in good hands. I’m drinking all the kool aid my tongue is blue

I think He’ll have a great year.

I’m interested in whether he gets to play ILB in certain sets. There are definitely situations where we want Stevens on the outside, but Divinity is so talented getting both on the field would be cool.

Stevens Divinity Phillips Chaisson would be deadly

I know i can’t wait. Most excited I’ve been for a season since 2016. Hopefully this isn’t a letdown like that one was. FINGERS CROSSED

He was a very high 4* coming out of high school, he has been destined for great things he just had some really good players ahead of him.

He was actually a 5 Star on 247. He started the first game of his freshmen year against Wisconsin but fell off after that. Last year when he had that sack against Georgia when he literally tossed that big arse tackle out of the way I said “yeah it’s starting to click.”

I don’t see the NFL sideline to sideline speed on him like with Debo or a Devin White, but he’s definitely got an NFL future as a rush OLB with that spin move.

Could see him like a Devondre Campbell for the falcons In the NFL.

The vast majority of NFL LBers don't have the sideline to sideline speed of Debo and Devin. They do just fine with less and so will Mike. He's a lot faster than you think.

We have great talent, they just need to be a bit patient and let it develop. I am confident they will mix it up and use the right individual for each situation. Stevens will be very good too this year and Queen is should be special too. We saw flashes from all of them last year.

I know this guy will have a great senior season. CEO is already doing better than Miles at recruiting juniors to stay. But hopefully, Divinity can be the catalyst to change the culture and show future underclassmen that millions are left on the table when you declare early.

So is he gonna stay at ILB?

He did very well at OLB and Queen more than acquitted himself last year when he was on the field.

Last year there were flashes of him playing up to his recruiting hype. I hope he pulls it all together this year.

This is the most important part. Guys must learn the basics of a college defense just to see the field. To start, one would hope, you must also have a basic understanding of what the rest of the defense is doing. Mix in some real experience, and then you can add to the "tricks" added to a positions responsibility.

With Delpit and Stevens able to excel on the line as well as off of the line of scrimmage, this defense will be more multiple than before. On top of this, an athlete like Marcel Brooks can learn from these guys and speed up his learning curve. This is what separates the top tier programs from all of the others.

how exactly? Les's last year, he got Tre White and Beckwith to stay. after 2017, O's first year, 7 guys left. don't get me wrong, I'm glad guys like Divinity, Rashard and Kris Fulton stuck around, but I'd like to see a clearer pattern of the non-star players staying before I say O's doing it better.
