Canes in sight

I honestly was checking their board expecting to read stuff about them feeling better about the LSU loss since we’ve proven to be a good team. Instead I saw this garbage

Pretty funny thread about how:

1) Miami’s semi blow out loss to LSU shouldn’t have hurt them more than AU’s 1 point loss hurt AU.

2)the SEC is overrated.

How do you get destroyed by an SEC team and come away thinking we are overrated? .

The delusion is strong on that board.

Yeah I was also impressed by the one or 2 guys that could see the difference between AU and Miami.

polls are illogical in many ways but so is that guy. Ironic that he's complaining about bias, though. Plus, Auburn would destroy Miami.

Maybe some years there have been a little bias but that’s because of historical data. And if there’s a year where no one can say that the Sec isn’t the best it’s this season. At least so far.

It's actually a pretty simple answer. #8 Miami got blown out by #25 LSU. #8 Auburn lost by one point to #12 LSU. If LSU had been ranked higher earlier on, then Miami wouldn't have fallen so far. It actually disproves his statement saying the SEC is overrated based off how much better LSU was than their preseason ranking of #25.

I think it is even simpler than that:

The initial rankings are pure conjecture. Then, a few games are played. So, after looking at three games...LSU looks like #6 now and AU looks like (whatever they are ranked). Same with Miami.

I think I agree with you if you are saying the SEC is, by far, the best conference early this year. Really hard to understand this part of your post.
