Saying he’s the worst coach UM’s ever had, had the worst defense they ever had, and can’t recruit.

But besides that, he was pretty good.

Well they did give up record yardage against UNC this past season.

And I think BYU is still scoring on Texas and Manny Diaz

A good portion of our fan base were saying the same thing about Aranda.

John Rhys Plumlee just scored on Aranda’s defense again

And still lost.

Love to make a big deal out of that game. Ole Miss lost by 21 points, scored 37 total, and had 7 points at half time.

To put it in context, UT gave up 550 yards and 40 points that day.

Miami gave up 778 yards and 62 points this year.

I don’t mind the hire as LB coach, but he deserves to lose his DC role.

Diaz took the playcalling duties away from him in the middle of the season. The UNC game is on Diaz.

Well to be fair if you look at their boards, they were saying that about him before he left. Out of all the hires, this is the one I’m personally most skeptical about.

Baker called the defense against UNC.

quote:

After 778 yards of total offense was amassed by the North Carolina Tar Heels and any hope for a New Year’s 6 bowl game lay devastated and wasted, you knew change was coming. Games in that calamitous category deserve a punishment and penance. It was unescapable.

Blake Baker was stripped of his play calling duties and rightfully so. Yet a division of the fan base was so opposed to this perceived favoritism. A demotion was more of an unjustified olive branch that needed to be thrown into a camp fire.

Now regardless of what side of the fire Baker divide you fall on, Manny Diaz is a better coordinator and the Miami Hurricanes are in better hands then it was a year ago. I will gladly state the case.

Wait, Miami has fans? You couldn’t tell by their empty stadium each season.
