I also met his cousin's cousin, Jake from State Farm. Also a very nice guy, until he tried hounding me to buy a term life policy so he could get commissions.

Jake Slaughter's dad (The Auburn one) spoke at my dad's funeral. They were buddies that went to Bolton High together in Alexandria.
Small world, I wondered if the Slaughters (Auburn Jake and LSU Jake) were related.
