If we win these three games we'll be in prime position going into the toughest part of the schedule. It'll be fun seeing this team play with high expectations. Would love to see the Tigers snag a 3 seed. I truly believe when our threes are falling we can roll anyone in the nation.

I posted some random thoughts in the game thread.

Looking at Mississippi State’s schedule I see that LSU catches them at the perfect time.

They play at Ole Miss the game before and Kentucky at home the game after.

A big rivalry game the game before and big bad Kentucky the game after. Perfect time for an emotional let down.

@Missouri
@Texas A&M
Arkansas

Let’s be 18-3 (8-0) heading to Mississippi State.

Starting guard for Mizzou just turned his ankle badly with a little over minute left. He's their 2nd leading scorer, one their two players averaging double figures.

Missouri’s Smith just rolled an ankle and had to be helped off the court, probably won’t be 100% Saturday.

AR just beat them by 12, Missouri don’t have the offense to stay with LSU, and Wade will have them focused on D

My biggest concern with this team is foul trouble in the post. They have been much better of late, but some of the early season losses were due in part to Reid and Bigby-Williams having to sit out chunks of games due to foul trouble.

Stay out of foul trouble and this team is damn tough to beat.

I think we absolutely can. And I think we will be. I also think we’ll come out of the hard stretch looking good. If this team keeps improving, they’ll be a tough out come March.

What’s really crazy is we could easily be 17-1 or better right now with the 2 games they blew big leads late.

Next two will not be easy. Tonight we looked like a team who thought we could just show up and win. That will not work for the next two. We are more talented than Mizou and A&M, but being on the road equals that out. Hopefully they get Wades message we come out like we did against Ole miss on Saturday.

Per VegasInsider..

" LSU: The Tigers have won their first five SEC games for just the third time in the past 50 seasons. On the other two occasions, LSU won the conference championship and advanced to the Final Four. The Tigers won their first 17 conference games in 1981 and their first seven in 2006."

I love where this team is and its ceiling, but 2-1 for this stretch would be very solid
