Yea. Paul Mainieri had Mason Katz playing center field and a whole batting lineup of guys 5’7” 160lbs.

I really thought we were going to win the entire thing that year because of our pitching staff. Gausman was a workhorse. Nola was also very good as a Freshman. I did not like that CPM started Gausman for the rain delay portion of game 1. Would have much rather he just been given the nod for game 2.

The braves are winning 4-2.
Please avoid LSU baseball threads if a team scoring 2 runs means LSU is getting "wrecked" at any point.

I didn't care for that either, but the real problem was that Gausman got mentally beat by the frickin rain.

PM had some inexplicable losses in the tournament
Beat Coastal Carolina and they likely go on to win the natty
Stoney Brook still has a player in MLB in Jankowski but LSU blew that one as well with a legit MLB staff - we trotted out Nola and Gausmann and still lost
