And why this time is different, other than O vouching for you?

Come on ask him. Pussy footing bastards. Ask the question!

Are you sure he definitely failed?

Sounded like Auburn in 2003 was a clusterfrick of a coaching situation.

Texas A&M his offenses regressed and then the whole staff got canned. Not sure if maybe the problem there was recruiting or coaching. Either way, they weren't very good teams.

Clemson and Georgia actually had some decent offenses, at least from a rankings perspective.

I don’t think they should ask that, but if worded differently I guess they could.

Simply ask him what he plans to do different.

It is irrelevant though. O said he learned but he didn’t change from his ways.

We will just have to see

That would be 2008 and he was just the interim.

He was fired at A&M and Clemson.

I thought he was the full time OC in 2003. I intentionally didn't mention the OC stint.

Edit...he was the QB coach and play caller in 2003. LINK

he wasn't OC in 2003. He was interim OC in 2008. Auburn fired OC Borges after the 2007 season, and then fired OC Franklin in the middle of 2008. Tubberville was on his last leg and left Ensminger to pick up the pieces with Chris Todd and Kodu Burns (who was a WR the following season) at QB. Ensminger deserves no judgment in that mess.

Yeah. Saw that. QB coach AND play caller. Ever heard of a QB coach calling plays? No wonder I had it in my head that that was a clusterfrick.

Did anyone ask why you ever left your job? You know collecting baskets at the supermarket?
